Segment Configuration

Overview

Within the Benchmarking Application, users can review Equity Quotient’s Community Financial Health Module with a set of predefined geographic segments to help partners and stakeholders consistently analyze financial health across key neighborhoods.

The Community Financial Health Module includes four views profiling Financial Stability, Resilience, and Security based on the U.S. Treasury Department Office of the Comptroller of the Currency framework. KPIs featured under each Financial Health pillar is powered by household data powered by private sources such as credit bureaus.

Currently, users are able to see pre-configured population segments defined by GKFF based on focus investment areas. Each segment has been defined by GKFF and configured by Equity Quotient based on relevant ZIP codes and census tracts to ensure clarity in data sourcing and reporting.


Tulsa City Wide

  • Encompasses all ZIP codes within the official City of Tulsa boundaries.
  • Included ZIP Codes: 74103, 74104, 74105, 74106, 74107, 74108, 74110, 74112, 74114, 74115, 74116, 74117, 74119, 74120, 74126, 74127, 74128, 74129, 74130, 74133, 74134, 74135, 74136, 74137

Elevate East

  • This segment represents the Elevate East catchment area, focused on neighborhoods like Eastland, Cooper, and Tower Heights. It spans from Highway 169 to 145th Street, and 11th to 31st Street. The area is aligned with the City of Tulsa’s Neighborhood Conditions Index.
  • Included ZIP Codes: 74108, 74128, 74129, 74134
  • Included Census Tracts: 73.10, 73.06, 73.11, 73.12, 73.13

Invest North

  • Anchored in North Tulsa neighborhoods like Chamberlain, North Ridge, Walt Whitman, Flat Rock Creek, Hawthorne, and parts of Lloyd Park. Bounded approximately by Apache Street (36th St N) to 56th Street N, and MLK Boulevard to Lewis Avenue.
  • Included ZIP Codes: 74106, 74110, 74126

Riverview Area

  • Centered in the Riverview neighborhood just west of downtown Tulsa. This is a focused geographic area with high density. Final boundaries will be refined as more neighborhood shapefiles become available.
  • Included ZIP Codes: 74105
  • Included Census Tracts: 68.01, 68.03, 68.04, 76.08, 76.09

By organizing Tulsa communities into predefined geographic segments, the Community Financial Health Module empowers partners to analyze financial well-being at the neighborhood level with greater clarity and consistency. These segments reflect areas of shared investment focus and city planning priorities—enabling you to compare performance across regions based on historical investments and identify risks and opportunities for future targeted interventions.
